Railway Recruitment: Eastern Railway has designated Orthopedic Hospital at Howrah Division for treatment of Kovid-19 patients. Advertisement has been issued by Eastern Railway for recruitment of a total of 50 posts of Contract Medical Practitioner (GDMO / Specialist / Super Specialist) and Nursing Superintendent (Staff Nurse) to care for the victims of the epidemic in this hospital. These posts will be interviewed by Eastern Railway through WhatsApp or telephone, for which the date of June 2, 2020 has been set. Candidates wishing to apply can email their application on the prescribed format.
According to the recruitment advertisement released by Eastern Railway, the posts of CMP and Staff Nurse are to be recruited on contractual basis, the duration of which will be three months. Only those candidates who have obtained MBBS / MD degree from a recognized institution and maximum age is 53/65 years can apply for CMP posts. Whereas, the candidates desirous of applying for the Nursing Superintendent (Staff Nurse) posts should have passed GNM / BSC / MSc Nursing from a recognized institution and should be a registered practitioner as a nurse and midwife. The minimum age limit for this post has been fixed at 20 years and maximum 40 years.
