
District Magistrate Prabhu N Singh held a meeting with businessmen in the new building of Circuit House on Saturday in connection with the opening of the market in Agra. It was approved to open the market from 10 am to 5 pm on June 3. However the District Magistrate also said that its directions will be issued only after the guidelines of the government come.
Agra Business Board President TN Aggarwal said that the District Magistrate asked all the institutions to get ideas regarding opening of markets. All unanimously suggested to open the markets from 7 am to 7 pm, but the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police kept the opening time of the markets from 10 am to 5 pm.
There was discussion on opening the market from 1st June. However, the District Magistrate gave permission to open from June 3. On June 2, the markets will be opened for cleaning and sanitizing. The weekly bandh will be on Monday. On that day, the administration will sanitize the entire market.
New guidelines will be released soon
The District Magistrate said that only one person will run on a two-wheeler. These are the orders of governance. At the same time, all the guidelines will be conveyed soon. Its official decision will be made after the Lockdown Five Guidelines. To implement this arrangement, a GST officer, a magistrate, and the jurisdictional officers of the concerned police station, will hold a meeting with the market committees to ascertain which shops will be open on which day.
Preparation is complete, waiting for guideline: DM
District Magistrate Prabhu N Singh said that preparations have been made to give exemption in Agra. Markets will be opened, parks, stadiums, salons have also been opened. There will be home delivery from the restaurant. Instructions in this regard will be issued only after getting the guide line of the government. Hopefully, the guide line will be found on Sunday. Hotels, multiplexes, dharmasthals will not be allowed to be opened yet. The ban on mass events will also continue.
