
The police have increased the vigor on gathering crowds in Agra’s street and not following social distancing. On Wednesday, 13 lawsuits were filed for violating the lockdown. 102 accused were also arrested.
The number of corona patients in Agra has exceeded 900. Markets have also opened up after the rules are relaxed. In such a situation, the police has started taking strict measures to prevent the spread of infection. Despite this, crowds are gathering in the streets and neighborhoods. In such a situation, the police has stepped up the action.
On Wednesday, 13 cases were filed for violating the rules and 102 accused were arrested. Similarly, 6281 vehicles were tested. Of these, 2597 vehicles were challaned. 105 was seized. Rs 59950 was recovered as mitigation fee.
Three arrested including Prasad leader
A lawsuit has been filed against three, including the Progressive Samajwadi Party state president Nitin Kohli, in Kamla Nagar for distributing rations and mobilizing women without the permission of the administration. Police say that action will be taken after deliberation.
The incident is on Tuesday. Ration was being distributed to women in the D block of Kamla Nagar. During this time, MP SP Singh Baghel and Nitin Kohli got into trouble. Nitin Kohli accused the MP’s supporter of beating him.
However the MP had said that he had asked for social distancing. The supporters were far away. In the case, SI Deepak Chauhan has filed a case against Nitin Kohli, Anuj Yadav, Jassi alias Jaswind and other associates.
