
In Agra, the police have started strict action against those riding two masks and two-wheelers. Those not applying masks were processed before the fifth phase of the lockdown. Challans of 87 such people were cut. The fine was deducted from the challan of 109 people traveling on a two-wheeler.
Lockdowns are getting exempt, but people have to follow the rules. On Saturday and Sunday, the police took action and charged a fine of Rs 100-100 for not leaving the house by covering the mask, skull and mouth.
Similarly, challans of two passengers on a two-wheeler were cut. About Rs 12,000 was recovered as a fine from them. Each was fined Rs 250-250. Police continues to be strict on Monday.
This is the rule
As per the government directive, till now, sitting on the back seat of a two-wheeler will attract a fine of Rs 250 for the first time. There was a provision of fine of 500 rupees in the second time and one thousand rupees in the third time. More often, the driver’s license had to be revoked or suspended. But on Sunday, the government has increased some discounts.
On the other hand, those who do not wear masks, skirts in a public place will be fined hundred rupees in the first and second time. A fine of Rs 500 will be levied for the third time and each iteration.
Violation of lockdown can be charged at the first time for a hundred rupees, maximum 500 rupees. 500 to one thousand rupees for the second time and one thousand rupees will be charged for the third time.
Challan booklet has been given to police
Challan books have been made available to the police of each police station. Penalty will be recovered through these challan books. The amount of this challan will be deposited in the treasury.
Despite the police’s strictness, people are leaving two rides on two-wheelers. People can be seen going for two and three rides from MG Road to areas inside the city.
