The number of corona patients in the city is steadily increasing. The young man from the city hotspot Gandhi Nagar, who returned from Agra hospital, turned out to be Corona positive.Apart from this, the report of the daughter of a migrant youth of Gandhi Nagar who got infected earlier and the wife of Shah Kamar’s vegetable seller has also come positive.Now the number of infected in the city has reached 22 and in the district 48. One has died and 5 have been cured. 42 patients are being treated in different hospitals.
A 21-year-old youth living in Gandhi Nagar was in Delhi preparing for CA. He returned to Etawah on March 15 after Corona’s knock in the country. The young man’s mother was feeling unwell.
He went to a private hospital in Agra on May 20 with his mother. Returned from there on 21 May. After this, the young man started getting fever. On 27 May, he went to the district hospital and got sampled. The report of the youth came to Corona positive on Friday.
It is feared that the youth has been infected by coming into contact with someone in the hospital or in Agra. Samples of the young man’s mother and family members will be taken. In the same locality, a 32-year-old youth who returned from Delhi on May 18 was sampled on May 23 after his family members became infected.
The 5-year-old daughter of a young man who returned from Delhi with his father has also been infected. The report of the 40-year-old wife of a vegetable vendor resident of Hotspot Mohalla Shahkamar has also come up positive.
In addition to the wife, samples of 15 and 17-year-old daughters and 8-year-old son were taken when the vegetable seller turned positive. Health officials are not aware of the report of three others. The three Corona positives have been sent to the Corona Hospital in Jaswantnagar.
SDM Sadar Siddharth said that sanitizers have been sprayed in the houses and streets of positive patients. With this, samples of seven of the youth’s family and seven people living in his house i.e. 14 people will be taken.
